Welcome to the Spring term!

Welcome to 2014! We hope you all had a restful and brilliant Christmas holiday. The children have come back with their thinking hats on ready for what we are sure will be a busy and exciting term. After a very successful Christmas Production, in the last week the children let their hair down a little and created their own photo booth shots. The children then designed their own cards to add the photos to... a festive hello if ever we saw one!

Languages week 18th - 21st November 2013

Back in November the whole school took part in World Languages Week which led to World Hello Day on 21st November. Year 2 received a special gold envelope in the introductory assembly which revealed their language was .... Portuguese! They learnt some Portuguese to present in front of the whole school and learnt about where Portuguese is spoken. The children even learnt how Brazilian chocolate is made ... they were very interested in this!1
